Our 6-year / 200,000 km warranty* provides reassurance that during the applicable warranty period your vehicle will be protected against unexpected repair costs relating to manufacturing defects.

Should your vehicle experience a failure of covered components during the warranty period, repairs will be carried out free of charge at any authorized MG distributor or service center.

When your vehicle is serviced or repaired at an MG authorized distributor, you benefit from:

In addition, all parts and labour used in warranty repairs are covered by a *12-month or 20,000 km guarantee (whichever comes first)**, providing added reassurance after the repair has been completed.

Warranty period for wear and tear items is the period from the date of purchase of the car or the distance travelled, whichever is sooner.

While the warranty provides comprehensive protection, certain items and circumstances are excluded.

The warranty does not cover:

1. Items that require adjustment, replacement, or servicing as part of normal maintenance and scheduled service.

2. Any body damage resulting from accidents or external impacts, unless repairs have been carried out according to MG specifications.

3. Failures caused by lack of proper maintenance or failure to use the recommended fuel, oils, lubricants, or coolant specified in the Owner’s Manual.

4. Damage caused by environmental factors such as chemical substances, acid rain, stones, hail, lightning, earthquakes, floods, or other natural events.

5. Damage resulting from the use of non-approved parts, accessories, or products not authorized by MG.

6. Damage caused by collision, fire, explosion, theft, attempted theft, extreme weather conditions, riots, or other external events.

7. Damage resulting from improper use, misuse, racing, or overloading of the vehicle.

8. Damage caused by vehicle modifications, including modifications to the body, chassis, powertrain, electronic systems, or other components.

9. Vehicles where the odometer has been tampered with, disconnected, or altered, except when replaced or repaired by an authorized MG service center.

10. Any indirect or consequential financial losses, including but not limited to:

    • Loss of vehicle use

    • Loss of wages

    • Inconvenience costs

    • Storage charges

    • Rental vehicle costs

    • Accommodation, meals, or travel expenses

11. Repairs or modifications required after sale to comply with local government legislation, unless required by law or specified by an MG authorized repairer.

12. Damage resulting from improper handling or disposal when a vehicle fault occurs.

13. Repairs or maintenance carried out by non-authorized workshops or service providers.

The warranty period provides long-term protection starting from the date of first registration. Most models registered in the Middle East, including MG ICE, HEV, PHEV, and BEV vehicles, are covered for 6 years or 200,000 km (whichever comes first). For MG Commercial Vehicles, the warranty is 36 months or 120,000 km, subject to official MG warranty terms and conditions.

To remain valid in the GCC, the warranty requires a full and accurate service history conducted according to the recommended servicing plan. Maintenance must be performed using genuine Original Equipment Specification (OE) MG parts and authorized MG fluids. Yes. MG genuine replacement parts are covered by a 12-month or 20,000 km warranty (whichever comes first) unless otherwise specified in the warranty exceptions. This coverage applies only to original parts listed in the official MG retail price list and sold through an authorized MG dealer.

MG provides an extended warranty of 8 years or 200,000 km (whichever comes first) for key high-voltage components including the battery pack, drive motor, power electronic box (PEB), and vehicle control unit (VCU). Note: For the MG 8 PHEV, the EV battery warranty is 96 months or 120,000 km (whichever comes first).

Yes. Skipping or delaying scheduled maintenance can significantly impact your warranty coverage. The manufacturer’s warranty does not cover damages resulting from neglect or inadequate maintenance. Always follow the recommended service schedule.

Failure to service your vehicle according to manufacturer recommendations may affect your warranty coverage. For clarification regarding a missed service, please contact your MG dealer immediately.

Yes. The warranty is fully transferable to each new owner as long as the warranty period has not expired. This helps enhance the resale value of the vehicle within the GCC market.

MG Anti-Perforation Warranty provides protection against rust-through corrosion on body panels for 6 years or 200,000 km (whichever comes first). Annual inspections must be carried out by an authorized MG repairer, and corrosion inspection records must be properly stamped.

MG parts and accessories installed by an authorized MG dealer before delivery are covered under the New Vehicle Limited Warranty. Accessories installed after delivery are covered for 12 months or 20,000 km, or the remaining balance of the vehicle warranty—whichever is longer. Licensed accessories may be covered by the manufacturer’s accessory-specific warranty.

The MG bumper-to-bumper warranty covers vehicles registered in the GCC against defects in materials or workmanship for 6 years or 200,000 km (whichever comes first). This applies to most factory-installed components but excludes standard wear-and-tear items.
